Make-up is so intriguing to me.  You can completely change yourself through it even through the subtlest modifications such as upturned eyeliner or a light wash of eyeshadow.  On the other end of the spectrum, heavy make up jobs like the ones here are otherworldly and inspirational.  Why leave avant-garde makeup only for halloween? If people expressed themselves more through fashion, hair and makeup there might be less unhappiness/un- “wellness”  in the world.  I think some of unhappiness stems from feeling confined and unhappy and not being able to verbalize what you feel. The way you dress or style yourself can be an outlet for that.
Above: One of my facebook friends.  I always thought of rainbow as tacky and kind of gawdy but she pulls it off so beautifully.

Simple, but still striking.

Hair and makeup from a recent Dior show.  So retro/mod! I love the eyemakeup, cat eyes with a twist and the lines are so precise and perfect. It looks like it has been tatooed! And the hair…ahhh, so big and voluminous.  I adore the 60s and this hair and makeup job combines some my favorite elements of the era.
